The elections will be conducted in accordance with the newly adopted Elections and Vetting Policy. \nBoard Positions and Constituencies \nUnder the new policy\, constituencies have been restructured as follows: \n\nStrathmore University Constituency (Strathmore University) – 4 Board Positions\nStrathmore School/Kianda School Constituency – 2 Board Positions\nUzima Constituency -(SRCC\, Quest Works\, Alumni\, Creates\, Eastland’s College\, Fontana Bookshop\, Tigoni\, Thigiri\, Hodari Boys\, Kimlea Girls\, Kibondeni College\, Karima Residence\, Elmolo Residence\, Satima\, Ewaso Club\, Watani\, Senaca\, Fanusi Study Center\, Roshani\, Imara Educational Foundation\, Mzima Students\, Samawati Medical\, Kivulini\, Mvule Catering\, Divas\, Off-Payroll Members\, Former Employees) – 1 Board Position \n\nThe vacancies available for this year’s elections are: \n\nOne board position in the Strathmore University Constituency\nOne board position in the Strathmore/Kianda School Constituency\n\nNote: Members are only eligible to vie for positions falling vacant within their respective constituencies. \nSupervisory Committee Vacancy\nTo ensure diverse representation\, a maximum of one supervisory committee member can be elected from any given center. While she is keen on the specific application of effective\nwritten and spoken communication\, her greater interest is in researching the constitutive nature of Communication\, and training organisations on effective communication. As a\nconsultant\, she is especially keen on how Communication organises and can disorganise an entity\, and has held numerous trainings for corporates on the same. \nShe has authored and co-authored conference and journal papers\, a book and book chapters.\nShe is Currently supervising Masters students and is especially keen on helping students navigate qualitative research. \nBeatrice is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK\, a Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR-UK) holder\, and a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya. \nBeatrice is married to Eliud Njeru and they have three children.
